Quality Inspector / Technician

Location: Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Wakefield

Salary: £20.00 - £22.00 p/h inclusive of holiday pay

Contract Type: PAYE / Umbrella

Duration: Initial 3-month contract

Industry: Manufacturing / QHSE / Engineering

Based in West Yorkshire, I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client who requires a Quality Inspector / Technician to join their team on a temporary contract with an initial 3-month commitment. My client is a leading manufacturer of technical equipment across the oil & gas and chemical industries.

Responsibilities:

• Review risk assessments & monitor operations following company QHSE policies
• Complete internal audit activities including preparation and inspections
• Administer and resolve customer complaints including RCA and CAPA
• Work closely with QHSE Manager and engage in all H&S and environment activities
• Create quality plans, ITP, and SOPs
• Manage the calibration system

Qualifications:

• Proven background working within quality
• Experience in an engineering/manufacturing capacity
• Expert user of Microsoft Office packages
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of RCA and CAPA
• Prompt decision making and attention to detail
