Job summary

ALPLA in Bridgwater, Somerset is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the established Quality Team. The role involves carrying out product testing, logging results and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

You will work Monday to Friday with 6am-2pm or 9am-5pm shifts, full training provided, starting salary of £27,000, and a benefits package including pension, life assurance, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
• Competent with IT systems and able to log results accurately.
• Organised and able to communicate results effectively.
• Awareness and knowledge of food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on products from the production line to ensure high quality.
• Ensure customer specifications are met and maintained.
• Carry out routine QC equipment checks and record findings.
• Isolate non-conforming bottles and record as required.
• Adhere to health, safety and ISO standards on site.
