Job summary

Owen Daniels in Aldershot is seeking a diligent Quality Inspector to own inspections across the manufacturing process, from incoming materials to final product verification. The role includes documenting quality data, supporting non-conformances, and working with a variety of inspection tools.

The position offers a 39-hour week with overtime, a permanent contract, and an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement within a growing team in Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Background in machining, manufacturing, assembly or precision engineering.
• Hands-on experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer role.
• Confident using inspection equipment and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to verify product compliance.
• Complete inspection reports, certificates, and quality documentation.
• Use a variety of inspection tools including hand tools, verniers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs and shadowgraphs.
• Identify, investigate and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions.
