Job summary

Actio Recruitment seeks a Quality Inspector in Atherton to join a detail-oriented manufacturing team. You will perform goods inwards, pre-paint and final inspections, and use precision measuring tools to verify parts against engineering drawings.

You will also generate dimensional reports, visually inspect for defects, and complete sign-off documentation. Strong reading of blueprints, excellent communication, and teamwork are essential. CMM experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CMM experience is a benefit

Responsibilities

• Performing Goods Inwards,
• Pre-Paint and Final Inspections.
• Measuring parts in accordance with engineering drawings using various types of measuring equipment, including external micrometers, 3-legged bore micrometers, stick micrometers, depth micrometers, verniers and gauges.
• Completing dimensional reports / inspection drawings.
• Visually inspection of parts for weld spatter, damage, burrs, paint quality, part marking etc. Completing inspection sign off documentation.
• Stamping parts.
• Carrying out stencilling and paint touch ups - as required.
• Tapping threaded holes - as required. Packing - as required. Assembling parts - as required.
