Job summary

One to One Personnel Limited is seeking a reliable Inspector & Packer in Leigh-on-Sea. The role is temporary-to-permanent, Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm, paying £12.71 per hour. The job involves inspecting products for defects and some packing duties, with training provided.

You will work as part of a friendly team, with onsite parking and a view to permanent employment after 12 weeks. Previous inspection or packing experience is helpful but not essential.

• Highly attentive to detail and able to spot small imperfections.
• Patient and comfortable carrying out repetitive inspection work.
• Nimble-fingered and dexterous, with good hand-eye coordination.
• Able to handle small or delicate products carefully.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working while seated for periods of time.
• Able to maintain concentration throughout the working day.
• A good team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to follow instructions accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Carefully inspect products for damage, defects, imperfections or errors.
• Carry out detailed visual quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Handle products carefully and efficiently.
• Pack products accurately and securely when required.
• Check products and packaging for any errors before dispatch.
• Identify and report any issues or products that do not meet quality standards.
• Follow clear instructions and established quality-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Work consistently to meet daily production and quality targets.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a friendly and supportive team.
