Job Description

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector working within Precision Engineering? Are you well-versed using visual and dimensional inspection equipment such as verniers, callipers and micrometres to inspect tight tolerances? Our client, a manufacturer of precision engineering parts for the aerospace and power industry, is now looking for an Inspector to join them on their late shift.

£32,934.72 - £34,192.08 (DOE)
Monday to Wednesday 16:30pm - 02:30am, Thursday 16:30pm - 01:30am
Location: Alcester

Responsibilities
  • Visual and dimensional inspection using verniers, callipers, micrometres, gauges, and projectors
  • Support the internal non-conformance process
  • Liaise closely with the engineering department to ensure the smooth transition of NPI
  • Learning how to use a 3D Scanner, Optical Measurement Machine, and Shadowgraph where necessary
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience inspecting parts to tight tolerances with dimensional measurement tools (verniers, micrometres, gauges, etc.)
  • Well-versed in working within a highly regulated/high precision industry
  • Willingness to learn how to use a shadowgraph, optical measurement machine, and 3D scanner
