TMUK Lincoln is looking for a key individual to join our Operations Team in Firth Road, Lincoln, as a Quality Inspector and Machinist.

This hands-on role involves working closely with Production and Engineering teams to develop and machine new parts, ensuring that both incoming and machined parts meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Inspect incoming and machined parts using engineering drawings and equipment.
  2. Use measuring tools such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, plug gauges, screw gauges, and ring gauges.
  3. Identify and resolve quality issues with production and engineering teams.
  4. Implement and monitor preventative and corrective actions to meet quality standards.
  5. Prepare First Article reports for incoming and machined parts.
  6. Operate and program Haas CNC Mill, model lathe and mill.
  7. Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams across sites for effective machining services.
  8. Provide technical guidance on machining principles and techniques.
  9. Perform scheduled maintenance checks on equipment.
  10. Understand drawings and geometric tolerances.

  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards is a plus.
