Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking a Quality Inspector in Worcester to join a global engineering team. You will inspect materials, in-process items and finished products to exacting standards, read engineering drawings with GD&T, and use CMMs, calipers and micrometers to verify measurements.

You will document results, communicate findings to production, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining ISO 9001 compliance and health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in quality assurance in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings with GD&T.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a plus.
• ISO 9001 internal auditor certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• HVAC or control systems experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, in-process items, and finished products to exacting standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Use high-tech measurement tools (CMMs, Vernier calipers, micrometers, FARO) to ensure quality.
• Document and communicate inspection results, flagging any issues for action.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues in real-time.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Follow health & safety protocols to keep the workplace safe.
