Overview

Quality Inspector - Dimensional | Denham | £35,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our precision engineering team. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting and testing components to ensure they meet exacting quality standards, while keeping accurate records and supporting continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out dimensional inspections of components against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Accurately maintain inspection records and update quality systems.
  • Operate a variety of inspection tools and equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including 5S and Lean initiatives.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality procedures.
What We\'re Looking For
  • Previous experience in inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with a range of inspection tools and equipment.
  • Good understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP desirable).
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification (preferred).
