Overview

Are you an experienced aircraft structure quality inspector looking for your next opportunity in the aerospace sector? Our client, a leading name in aircraft manufacturing and assembly, is seeking multiple quality control and quality assurance inspectors to join their team on an immediate 6-month fixed term contract based in Belfast.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed product inspections and quality control checks on aircraft structures.
  • Verify product compliance with design specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide instruction and support to operators, including monitoring delegated operator activities.
  • Identify and report drawing, process, or tooling anomalies, raising corrective action requests where needed.
  • Write clear, accurate technical reports to support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work flexibly across shifts, including potential 12-hour rotations.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months' aerospace inspection experience - essential.
  • A recognised apprenticeship plus at least 2 years' relevant post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or tooling environment.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide guidance to production teams.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards, practices, and regulatory requirements in aerospace manufacturing.
  • An HNC or equivalent qualification is desirable, though candidates with significant experience and knowledge will also be considered.
