Job description

People Solutions are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our client based in Wolverhampton.

Working Hours:

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 6:00AM – 2:00PM / 2:00PM – 10:00PM

Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Conducting in-house and goods-in inspections to ensure product quality
  • Working with measurement tools such as CMM, FARO Arm, shadowgraph, micrometers, and gauges
  • Using PolyWorks software (or similar) for advanced metrology and analysis
  • Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
  • Collaborating with customer inspectors and internal departments to resolve quality concerns
  • Maintaining accurate inspection reports and managing calibration systems
  • Ensuring all non-conforming products are correctly quarantined and tracked
  • Strong metrology and measurement experience
  • Proficient in PolyWorks or similar inspection software
  • Confident interpreting mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of materials, engineering standards, and quality certifications
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Experience supporting audits and conducting patrol or supplier inspections
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
  • Background in manufacturing, aerospace, or precision engineering
  • Experience with continuous improvement and QMS auditing
