Job summary

Holt Engineering in Weymouth is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its engineering team. You will inspect machined and fabricated components against engineering drawings and customer specifications, ensuring conformity and traceability.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with verniers, micrometers, gauges and CMM equipment, with a strong eye for detail and a solid appreciation of ISO quality systems. This full-time, permanent role offers long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector in engineering/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Confident using measuring equipment, including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
• Experience with CMM is advantageous and knowledge of ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting machined and fabricated components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Using measuring equipment to check component accuracy and compliance.
• Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspection checks.

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a new role within engineering or manufacturing?

We're recruiting for an established engineering business in Weymouth, looking for a Quality Inspector to join its quality team, inspecting machined and fabricated components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

This role would suit someone with an eye for detail, confident using measuring equipment and comfortable working to precise tolerances in a workshop environment.
