Job description

Job Description:
Pertemps Dudley are recruiting for a Quality Inspector, on behalf of our client based in the Dudley area. The successful candidate will have a focus on material inspection. In this entry level role, you will receive comprehensive training to become proficient in testing techniques, to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and components.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in a structured training program to develop expertise in inspecting techniques
  2. Assist in conducting inspections on various components
  3. Record and analyse test results
  4. Adhere to strict safety protocols
  5. Help maintain and calibrate equipment

Required skills and experience:
  1. A strong interest in technology and quality control
  2. Good understanding of basic mathematics
  3. Excellent attention to detail
  4. Willingness to learn and grow

Hours of work:
  1. 8am-4pm Monday to Friday whilst in training
  2. 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating shift pattern once trained
  3. Flexibility to eventually work night shifts is preferred

Rate of pay:
  1. £12.21 per hour whilst in training
  2. 12% shift allowance for rotating shifts
  3. 17% shift allowance for night shifts
