Quality Assurance - Temp to Perm (12 Weeks)
Location: Dudley
Shift: 06:00 - 16:30
Pay: 12.50 - 13.00 per hour

Are you detail-driven, passionate about food quality, and ready to step into a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis, with great potential for long-term progression!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly quality checks, following SOPs to the letter.
  • Performing hands-on inspections to ensure food safety and quality standards are always met.
  • Completing and maintaining accurate QA documentation - precision matters!
  • Understanding and working within internal, customer, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Identifying and escalating any non-conformances swiftly to maintain top-tier standards.
  • Supporting root cause investigations to help reduce quality failures and improve performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ideally, you'll hold Food Safety Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 - but if not, we'll train you up.
  • Strong communication skills - you'll need to work closely with production and management teams.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow within the business.
  • Comfortable using IT systems and inputting data accurately.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Bonus points if you have experience in the meat industry or knowledge of animal welfare standards.
