Quality Inspector

CMM Inspector

Non-Shift, Monday - Friday with Early Finish Friday.

Fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a well-respected engineering company as a Quality Inspector. The position of Quality Inspector has arisen due to continued strong sales and new projects.

Responsibilities
  • The role of Quality Inspector will include the inspection of supply chain products and processes through the business\'s normal inspection system.
  • The Inspector will assist in problem-solving activities within manufacturing, engineering investigations, and corrective action determination.
  • Goods-in and Inspection tasks, including general inspection of parts manufactured both offsite and onsite, requiring outside processing and/or Supplier First Article Inspection.
Skills & Requirements
  • Using inspection technology and a variety of inspection techniques, gauging within a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience with CMM machinery
  • Experience working with measuring equipment
  • Have worked to IS9000/ AS9102 Standards
  • Have experience of First Article Inspection (FAI/FAIR)
  • Knowledge and experience with machined parts finishing processes and workmanship
