Join our clients dedicated team, they're an esteemed UK specialist in the design and production of precision gearing systems and gearboxes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first off and final inspections of precision machined parts, compiling and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 (training available).
  • Utilise measuring equipment effectively, including micrometers, verniers, and CMM systems, to assess product specifications.
  • Collaborate with the team to analyse data, identify quality trends, and address any issues proactively.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in inspection within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven proficiency in inspecting precision machined components.
  • Strong analytical abilities coupled with a keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with geometric tolerances and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management software, with an understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
