Job description

Castle Employment Group is working with a well-established manufacturer in North Yorkshire to recruit a Quality Inspector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to play a key role in ensuring product quality and safety in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Inspect composite and metallic components using technical drawings and process instructions.

  • Perform goods inward inspections, validating parts against specifications.

  • Operate or program CMMs and 3D scanning tools (experience with Wenzel Quartis/VX Elements is a plus).

  • Validate paint quality using DFT, WFT, gloss and pinhole gauges.

  • Ensure all inspections comply with health and safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and job cards.

  • Work collaboratively with production teams and report on opportunities for process improvement.



Who We're Looking For:
  • Experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.

  • Skilled in using manual measurement tools (verniers, micrometers, etc.).

  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Background in composite materials and adhesives (beneficial)

  • Experience in cleanroom or electrical assembly environments (advantageous)
