Job description

Quality Inspector required. My client is a manufacturer of Power Generation and HVAC equipment in Birmingham and is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate will come from a Quality background with experience with the ISO:9001 QMS and be based within a commutable distance of Birmingham.

Quality Inspector Position Overview
  • Co-ordinate the development and maintenance of the Quality Manual
  • Host audits and surveillance from customers and notified bodies
  • Carry out internal audits with focus on business improvements
  • Review supplier and sub-contractor applications and ensure supplier certification and accreditation are updated and correct
  • Maintain the company's non-conformance & calibration system
  • Monitor and measure Customer satisfaction and produce reports accordingly
  • Manage the customer portals and accreditations ensuring they are updated accordingly, and all relevant information stored and uploaded in a timely fashion
  • Professional completion of all pre-qualification questionnaires in line with relevant deadlines set by our suppliers/customers. Assisting with RFI's (Requests for Information) and similar if required.
Quality Inspector Position Requirements
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance with experience of co-ordination of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
  • Internal Auditing experience in line with ISO9001
  • Previous Faro Arm experience would be beneficial
  • Numerate, literate, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), timekeeping, organisational & prioritising skills
  • Based in a commutable distance of Birmingham

  • Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:00
