Job summary

An established industry player is seeking an Electronics Quality Inspector to uphold quality standards in electronic components and assemblies. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced inspector to join a reputable company in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for performing Automated Optical Inspections and PCB inspections, conducting visual inspections to IPC standards, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Electronics Quality Inspector
Location: Stevenage
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum + company benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Actio Recruitment is supporting our manufacturing client in Stevenage with their search for an Electronics Quality Inspector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced inspector to join a well-established company, ensuring high standards of quality across electronic components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and PCB inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards
  2. Conduct visual inspections of electronic assemblies to IPC standards
  3. Identify and report any defects or non-conformities
  4. Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality reports
  5. Work closely with the production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues

What We're Looking For:
  1. Experience in AOI inspection and PCB inspection is preferred
  2. IPC training or certification is highly desirable
  3. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality control
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
