Job description

Region: NCE > Customer Project Execution, NCE > Offshore Quality Inspectors

As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the onshore project team, working closely to ensure the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) is installed, commissioned, and operational. You must take all necessary actions to comply with Vestas' safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with project team members and client representatives on all quality tasks. Your responsibility is to execute your work scope successfully, safely, and on time.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and conduct component inspections.
  2. Coordinate quality scope with the project team to meet customer WTG requirements while ensuring safety by complying with Vestas' HSE standards.
  3. Identify, describe, register, and report non-conformities.
  4. Review, approve, and document inspection reports.
  5. Coordinate quality improvements across Vestas' value chain.
  6. Inspect incoming deliveries on site for components such as nacelles, towers, and blades.
Qualifications
  1. Good understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards is desirable.
  2. Wind turbine experience is preferred.
  3. Strong English communication skills (verbal, listening, written, meeting management, presentation).
Competencies
  1. Experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams is desired.
  2. WTG experience is preferred.
  3. Leadership and delegation skills.
  4. Health and safety mindset.
  5. Hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Additional Information

You can be based anywhere in Denmark, UK, or Poland.

This role requires up to 180 days of travel per year.
