Job summary

This position offers flexible fixed shifts with starting rates from GBP12.21ph to GBP14.45ph and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Quality Inspection, Quality Control, or Quality Management in engineering or manufacturing.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills required.
• Own transport is essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently recruiting Quality Inspectors to join our client, a UK leading provider of sheet metal engineering and fabrication services located in Hixon, Staffordshire. These roles are long-term opportunities. Immediate start dates are available.

Quality Inspector key job details:

• Monday to Friday, fixed shifts (your choice!): 06:00 to 14:30 OR 14:30 to 23:00
• Starting rates from GBP12.21ph to GBP14.45ph (dependant on shift and your experience)
• Weekly pay

Quality Inspector key responsibilities:

• Inspecting finished components & assemblies, following drawing specifications or inspection documents
• Raising any faults or non-conformances
• Completion of relevant paperwork and sign-offs
• Minor rectification work when required / where possible
• Aiding production to achieve "right first time" targets
• Maintaining all health and safety standards

Quality Inspector person specification:

• Previous experience within Quality Inspection, Quality Control, Quality Management in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment would be ideal
• Great attention to detail is essential
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Computer Literate
• Knowledge of iAuditor (SafetyCulture) is advantageous
• Own transport is essential
