Job summary

Actio Recruitment is seeking a Quality Inspector for their Sheffield location, offering a 4-day compressed workweek with good overtime opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience with CMM techniques, MCosmos and/or Cam2 Measure 10, and solid skills in various inspection methods. This role also provides a competitive hourly wage with additional holidays.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Hours: 4 Day compressed working week. Hours of work 6am -4.30pm (Mon - Wed), 6am - 3.30pm (Thurs) Overtime availability is good. 23 days plus 8 days bankholiday entitlement

Salary: 15 - 16 per hour

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Position Summary:

Actio Recruitment are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector due to continual investment we have a vacancy for an experienced Quality Inspector, the successful candidate will have MCosmos and/or Cam2 Measure 10 experience. It is essential that applicants have a solid background in CMM techniques and well-developed skills In the methods of Inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Chief Inspector. Desirable to have some Knowledge of developing/ editing of CMM programs, not essential as training can be provided. Ability to operate CMM machines with minimum supervision.

• Minimum 2 years relevant CMM experience.

• Conversant with Inspection philosophies and techniques.

• Good understanding of GD&T.

• Ability to us manual Inspection equipment.

• Strong understanding of quality based processes and standards.
