Overview

Quality Inspector – Rugby

Up to £35,000

T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative global manufacturing business who focus on the development and reengineering of industrial machinery for a variety of sectors, to help them recruit a Quality Inspector.

As a Quality Inspector you will join a growing Quality team responsible for ensuring that all the goods supplied to the business are up to and in line with the standards of quality set.

Responsibilities
  • Inspection of components using a variety of measurement equipment and techniques such as Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers and laser scanners.
  • Check all goods inwards deliveries are appropriately packaged with the relevant inspection records/certificates of conformity where specified.
  • Completion and management of Non-conformance reports where parts don't meet standards or specifications and liaison with both internal teams and suppliers to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Management and maintenance of equipment condition and calibration.
  • Carry out supplier audits to ensure ongoing quality management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience within a similar quality/inspection role.
  • Experience of measuring parts and components using manual inspection equipment such as Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers, Johannsson, Pin and Digital height gauges, etc.
  • A strong understanding/ability to interpret, analyse and read engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Fantastic communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Parts/stock management experience using an ERP/MRP system essential.

The role will be based from the company's headquarters in Rugby, with a salary of £35,000 initially budgeted depending on experience.
