The Role
The Quality Inspector will be required to ensure that all machined parts and products meet quality standards through inspections, including visual, dimensional, and functional checks.
The ideal candidate will have experience and confidence in using a variety of calibration tools, such as; callipers, micrometers, and a CMM machine.They will be required to interpret detailed engineering drawings (modern and historic) and work in a machine shop where tight tolerances are required to be achieved.
Being well organised and highly self-driven with an approachable, flexible personality is essential to the role, as you are a key piece of Reekie's production team, engineering team and overall business quality success.

Normal working hours are as follows:
Mon-Thurs: 0745hrs to 1610hrs - 10min paid tea break, 25 min unpaid lunch break
Fri: 0745hrs to 1245hrs - 10 min paid tea break

33 days a year, including 8 public holidays.
