An established industry player is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their precision engineering team in Redditch. Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Redditch
Shift: Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm to 2:30am and Thursdays 4:30pm to 1:30am (39hrs)
Pay: £17.49/£35469 per annum, rising to £18.74/£38004 + overtime = earnings of £40000 and upwards.
Overtime: available at 1.33 Mon-Fri, 1.5 Saturday and double time Sunday.
Environment: Manufacturing - precision engineering
Role: Permanent
Holidays/Benefits: Holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.
We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to dimensionally inspect machined and fabricated components with hand held measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment.
The ideal candidate / Quality inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
