Thompson Aero Seating is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the Quality team at our Portadown facility. You will inspect parts, assemblies and finished products to drawings and specifications, ensuring airworthiness and conformance to standards.
The role requires attention to detail, familiarity with measurement tools, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Travel 0–25% may be required; the environment includes early/late shift patterns.

Highlights from 2017 included delivery to Delta Airlines of the new Vantage XL Suite on Thompson’s first Airbus A350 programme, the ‘all suite cabin’ with sliding privacy doors was an industry first, winning the highly acclaimed Crystal Cabin Award at the Hamburg Aircraft Interiors Expo Hamburg. The same year our launch customer for the Boeing B787, Qantas, took delivery of their first Dreamliner with their fully customised version of the Vantage XL. Other customer deliveries during 2017 included China Eastern, TAP Portugal and Philippine Airlines.
Quality Inspector
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspection and conformance to design of production and maintenance activities.
NOTE: - Though most of your work will be done at Thompson Aero Seating Factories within the Portadown area, there may be occasions where travel is required to temporary field locations with a possible amount of Travel Required worldwide for Position being 0%-25%
