Quality Inspector

Our client is a specialist in innovative downhole technology for the global energy industry. They design and manufacture tools to solve current and emerging challenges for the oil and gas and energy transition sectors, including gas storage, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen storage and geothermal production.

They are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team in Poole.

Experience

  • Experience of hand measuring equipment and reporting.
  • Experienced within ISO 9001.
  • Experience of Inspection best practices.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar inspection role.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products against engineering drawings to assess whether products meet required quality standards using a range of hand tools to manually inspect components.
  • Understanding of complex manufacturing drawings.
  • A background working to tight tolerances / to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Complete First Article Inspections and NCRs.
  • Understanding of geometric tolerances and various surface finishings.
  • Liaise with other departments when needed.
