Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of LED products supplying to a number of different sectors. They are looking for a hands-on Quality Inspector with experience using handheld tools, documenting, and ensuring high quality products. The successful candidate will receive great training and the ability to learn new skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on Quality Inspector role
  • Inspecting machined metal (mostly aluminum) and plastic components
  • Using handheld tools: Calipers, verniers, gauges, etc.
  • Conducting visual inspections
  • Performing Goods In first article inspections (AS9100), through to finished assembled products
  • Internal calibration of measuring equipment and documenting
  • Working to AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards
  • Marking up drawings
  • Creating FAIR reports
  • Helping with monitoring training of staff

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced in measuring with handheld tools
  • Complying with quality standards
  • CAD experience
  • IT Literate
