Overview

Job Opportunity: Quality Inspector

Location: Aerospace Manufacturer, Oldham

Shift Pattern: Rotating 2-shift role

Responsibilities
  • Actively identify quality issues during production and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions
  • Support investigations into non-conformances, helping to determine root causes and ensuring long-term solutions
  • Update and maintain QHSE documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards
  • Oversee quarantined stock and monitor monthly shelf-life to prevent any potential issues
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Provide training and raise awareness around quality, health, safety, and environmental issues
Skills & Experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in driving corrective actions in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues
  • Familiarity with quality standards and internal auditing processes, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing sectors
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and customer specifications
  • Ideally an engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, with relevant industry experience
