Are you the type of person who spots a mistake from a mile away?

We're working with a global manufacturing business in Northampton to find a Quality Inspector, someone who takes pride in ensuring that things are built to the highest standard. If you love precision, attention to detail, and making sure things are done right, this could be for you.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Inspecting components to ensure they match technical drawings and specifications.
  2. Making sure production meets both internal and customer quality standards.
  3. Approving production runs and carrying out quality/process audits.
  4. Ensuring assemblies meet packaging and labelling requirements.
  5. Keeping records up to date as part of the Quality Management System.
  6. Performing gauge calibration (or arranging it externally).
  7. Running MSA studies to guarantee accurate measurement processes.
  8. Getting involved in continuous improvement projects because there's always a way to make things better.
What They're Looking For:
  1. You know your way around engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
  2. You have previous inspection experience (or can pick it up quickly).
  3. You're comfortable with trigonometry and measurement error.
  4. You can use measurement tools and perform "first principle" inspections.
  5. You're confident with Microsoft Office (because paperwork is part of the job).
  6. You're self-motivated, hands-on, and always looking to improve.
What's In It for You?

£26,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience).

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30, Friday: 07:00 - 12:30 (early finish Fridays).

Up to 5% based on company & personal performance.

Company Share Incentive Plan.

Pension & Life Insurance (3x salary).

25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days.
