Job description

Position: Quality Inspector

Location: Luton

Proactive currently has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector to work for a leading manufacturing and production business based in Luton.

Due to rapid company expansion and an increasing order book, our client is looking to recruit at least one additional Quality Inspector to help maintain the quality and accuracy of the site's functions during this period of growth.

This role requires security clearance, meaning you need to be a UK Citizen or have an EU passport and have worked in the UK for the past 5 years.

The Role of the Quality Inspector Will Consist Of

• Auditing products in accordance with defined build instructions and IPC-A-610 standards
• Identifying and logging deviations from build instructions or IPC-A-610 standards following established procedures
• Ensuring processes are robust, clear, and consistently achieve required standards
• Adhering strictly to defined processes, highlighting gaps or suggesting improvements to supervision, and updating documentation in QMS as needed
• Ensuring compliance with company Quality Standards and procedures

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Understanding of Factory Logix (Aegis)
• Current IPC-A-610 certification (desirable)
• Component knowledge and identification skills
• Ability to follow customer drawings
• ESD awareness
• Understanding and use of QMS systems
• Attention to detail
• Customer focus

• Excellent communication skills
