Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

An excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector from a manufacturing background to join a well-established and industry-leading company.

The company is a specialist manufacturer with a great reputation. They are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. You will be responsible for performing inspections of products to ensure compliance with specified requirements at the receiving, in-progress, and final stages of production, meeting quality and safety standards.

This role is suitable for an experienced Quality Inspector seeking a new opportunity that offers extensive training and technical development.

The Role:

  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and final parts, conduct quality checks according to company standards, complete documentation, identify non-conformances, raise CAPAs when necessary, and make recommendations by liaising with internal stakeholders. Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Visual Inspection, Positive Material Identification (PMI), Hardness Testing, and Dye Penetrant Testing.
  • Shift Pattern: Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 2:15pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm. Week 2: 2:15pm - 10:30pm, Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

The Person:

  • Experienced Quality Inspector
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with CMMs, positive material identification, Epicor, ISO/ASME/NORSOK/PED standards is advantageous but not essential.
