Job description

Shorterm Group is currently collaborating with a precision engineering company seeking a Quality Inspector to gradually take over from their retiring inspector.

The company produces parts for various industries, creating a fast-paced environment for a dedicated Quality Inspector to ensure all quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include:

1. Using manual inspection equipment in the inspection booth and on the shop floor (for larger components).
2. Operating QTC CMM machines (programming experience is desirable).
3. Dealing with customer inquiries (experience is desirable).
4. Carrying out FAI (First Article Inspections).

We are looking for a candidate eager to engage in a variety of tasks, whether in the inspection shop or on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will be able to problem-solve, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm; Friday, 8am - 2:30pm

Pay: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum + 1.5x overtime when available

Full-time, Permanent position.
