Paying £17.23 per hour inclusive of shift allowance

PERMANENT ROLE

Rotating Mornings and afternoons

Our client in Leicester is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector with CMM experience to join their team on a permanent basis. They manufacture airfoil components for the aerospace industry. They employ over 30,000 people across the globe and are leaders in the development and manufacturing of precision components.

Job Description: Quality Inspector / CMM Inspector

1. Carrying out first off inspections of airfoil products and components
2. Visual and dimensional inspection
3. CMM Inspection
4. Working from engineering drawings and client specs
5. Checking the part according to correct standards and client specifications
6. Generation of non-conformance paperwork
7. Undertake Airflow Inspection tasks as required
8. Working to tight tolerances within a precision / aerospace environment
9. Complying to health and safety procedures
10. Complete receipt inspection and validate parts returning from various locations

Essential Skills / Experience:

1. A sound understanding of both conventional and CMM inspection techniques
2. Proven engineering experience
3. Experience of inspecting to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment
4. Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment with demanding targets
5. A solid understanding of engineering drawings and client and method specifications
6. A reasonable degree of computer literacy, with basic excel experience
7. An understanding or ability to use SAP would be advantageous

Pay:
£14.48 - Basic Hourly rate
Shift Premium for this 2 shift rotating pattern is 19%
This gives a starting rate on this 2 shift pattern of £17.23

Working Hours:

Two shift rotation:

Mornings: 05:45 - 13:45 Monday - Thursday & 05:45 - 10:45 Friday

Afternoons: 13:45 - 21:45 Monday - Thursday & 10:45 - 15:45 Friday

The Company can also accommodate a morning and night shift rotation where this suits a candidate's requirements.

Whilst training the hours will be as follows:

08:00 - 16:25 Monday - Thursday & 08:00 - 13:20 Friday
