Overview

A global specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation located in Farnborough is recruiting for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join on an initial 9 month contract, with the possibility of a further extension into 2026. The role offers a 3 day week with flexibility on days to suit you.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality department with inspection of machined components, sub assemblies and welded parts to ensure they are accurate and quality compliant.
• Perform measurements using a CMM (Co-ordinate measuring machine) and the usual hand tools (Verniers, Calipers and Micrometers).

Qualifications

• Proven experience inspecting precision mechanical components to tight tolerances.
• Confident CMM user (programming not essential).
• Proficient with Verniers, Calipers and Micrometers.
