Company Profile

A highly regarded manufacturer of precision machined parts and components, delivering high-quality products to clients in technically challenging markets, seeks an experienced Quality Inspector for their Inspection department, working with Manual and CMM equipment.

The company offers excellent working conditions and a varied workload.

Duties:

• Manual inspection of precision machined parts using equipment such as Micrometers, Verniers, and Gauges.
• CMM Inspection, working with Aberlink CMM (experience with other CMMs like PC-DMIS or Mitutoyo is also acceptable).
• Participating in the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong background in Quality Inspection, ideally in a Precision Engineering environment.
• Experience with CMM inspection is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Experience inspecting to tight tolerances.
• PPAP knowledge and experience are highly desirable.

Hours of Work:

• 39 hours per week
• £16.00 - £20.00 per hour
• Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm; Friday, 8am to 1pm
• Overtime at 1.5x after 39 hours
