Overview

Quality Inspector • £13.80 an hour • Leicester (LE4) • Precision Engineering • Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm (early Friday finish)

The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to be part of an expanding team due to business growth. The temporary role with a permanent role offered after a successfully 12-week period. We are able to offer an immediate start on this role following a successful one stage interview process.

Scope of role

• Using customer specifications / engineering drawings to understand expected quality levels.
• Inspection of machined and inspected parts - in process / spot inspection / first off.
• Using CMM devices such as verniers, gauges & callipers to inspect components accurately.
• Raise quality issues to line manager.
• Carry out tool calibration duties.
• Inspection of welded joints
• Inspection of goods inward.

Responsibilities

• Experienced within quality inspection.
• Can read engineering drawings.
• ISO9001: 2015 standards - experience working to.
• Experienced using CMM devices.
• Welded joints experience is desirable but not essential.
