Job summary

Advanced Resourcing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing client in the Dudley area for a permanent Quality Inspector. The role involves safeguarding quality at all stages, with authority to stop production to correct issues, and hands-on inspection across visual, dimensional, and thickness checks.

You will interpret machined part drawings, support goods inwards and use basic computer tools such as Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Previous quality background in Welding and Fabrication environments.
• Pipe background is desirable.
• Able to interpret machined part engineering drawings, processes and procedures.
• Good knowledge in computer skills and use of basic tools like Excel, Word.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stop production to correct quality problems.

• First Off dimensional checks.

Advanced Resourcing are a forward thinking Agency that specialise within the Manufactruing & Engineering sector and work with clients all over the West Midlands.

Due to growth and continued success, Advanced Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the Dudley Area. We are seeking a permanent Quality Inspector to join our client's existing team.

The daily duties will include:

• The authority to stop production to correct quality problems
• Visual checking
• Quality checks
• Thickness checks
• First Off dimensional checks
• Random dimensional checks
• Final dimensional checks/Final Inspection
• Paint thickness checks if required
• Supports Goods Inwards

Experience needed:

• Previous quality background in a Welding and Fabrication Background
• Previous Pipe background is desireable
