Shift: Weekly Rotating Shift Pattern - 6.00am - 2.00pm & 2.00pm - 10.00pm

A brilliant opportunity is now available to join a progressive and multi-organisation at their purpose-built manufacturing and processing plant in Doncaster. These long-term positions offer training and progression opportunities.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided.

Role responsibilities include:

• Following safe working practices and health & safety guidelines
• Packaging finished products to customer specifications
• Working to production and quality schedules
• Working as part of a team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
• Carrying out visual, dimensional, and hardness checks on extruded profiles
• Performing tensile tests on materials as required
• Performing bending tests for material 6101
• Preparing electrical conductivity reports
• Calibrating internal equipment
• Verifying complaints and reporting to the quality manager
• Liaising with die shop staff and production managers regarding non-conforming materials
• Updating records of certificates of conformity daily
• Entering chemical compositions of billets into the Libra system
• Scraping materials when necessary
• Cleaning quality areas when necessary
• Preparing certificates of conformity for delivery to customers

Candidate requirements:

• No previous experience required; full training will be provided
• Highly motivated and driven
• Ability to commit to a rotating shift pattern
• Ability to comply with health and safety regulations on site
• Correct use of personal protective equipment (provided)
