Overview

Quality Inspector – Derby – Permanent – Circa £17.00 - £18.00 per hour + Shift Premium

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering company located in Derby, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities
  • Inspecting machined and fabricated safety-critical components
  • Working with a wide range of handheld measuring equipment
  • Operating CMM Equipment
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate
  • Previously worked in a precision engineering environment in a quality role
  • Experience of carrying out "first off" inspections using manual equipment
  • Able to operate CMM machines
  • Confidence with analysing and recording results to be able to make appropriate quality decisions
  • Strong ability to manage workloads effectively and work in an organised, efficient manner
