About the Role

Our client, based near Coleshill and established for almost 40 years, is a recognized market leader in the design, development, manufacture, and distribution of cabling and connection solutions worldwide. Due to continued success and a strategic growth plan for 2025 and beyond, they are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quality Inspector to join their Manufacturing team.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure products meet all quality standards before reaching the market.
  2. Uphold safety standards during production.
  3. Test products at various stages for quality compliance.
  4. Analyze past quality issues to improve future products.
  5. Design, review, and update quality control policies and procedures.
  6. Ensure adherence to quality check procedures at every production stage.
  7. Document and record quality issues.
  8. Create procedure checklists and coordinate with other inspectors.
  9. Train new staff on quality procedures.
  10. Handle customer feedback and complaints.
  11. Test product materials from suppliers.
  12. Work independently and collaboratively with the Quality team and QHSE team.
Candidate Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an engineering or technical manufacturing environment.
  2. Good GCSE/A-level grades.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  4. Experience with a range of quality measuring equipment and tools.
  5. Experience with SAP/ERP systems (preferred).
  6. Membership of CQI is advantageous.
  7. Ability to analyze product quality and performance.
  8. Understanding of industry safety standards.
  9. Enthusiastic about continuous improvement.
