Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Quality Inspector in Cambridge to ensure aerospace products meet strict quality standards. You will inspect, test electrical systems, and interpret engineering drawings to support compliance and reliability.

In this role you will raise non-conformances, liaise with design teams, and uphold AS9100 and regulatory requirements in a methodical quality environment.

Qualifications

• Background within a quality environment, ideally Aerospace
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Competence in electrical testing methodologies
• Strong IT capability across Microsoft Office
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of EASA 21, 145, or AS9100 standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct first article inspections and produce accurate, compliant inspection reports
• Perform electrical testing including continuity, insulation, bonding and functional testing
• Interpret multi-level technical drawings and specifications
• Raise non-conformance reports and liaise with design teams or suppliers
• Ensure adherence to internal quality systems and regulatory requirements (AS9100)
