Job description

A successful candidate would have the opportunity to work for a fast-growing company, in a modern workshop environment with the latest machine tools and would need to be able to work effectively as a team member and have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspection of precision machined components, working to tight tolerances. First off and final inspections.
  2. Utilising CMM, micrometers, height gauges, callipers etc.
  3. Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to customer requirements, where required.
  4. Assisting customer & internal NCR process and investigating the causes of any failures to prevent recurrence.
  5. The calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment in line with company procedures.
  6. Supporting internal auditors when carrying out systems and process audits.

Required experience:

  1. 3 years minimum experience.
  2. Proficient in GD&T and Technical Drawings.
  3. Effective in communication and problem solving.
  4. Working knowledge of ISO9001.
  5. CMM experience.
  6. Training available where necessary on inspection equipment.

Salary: £14- £18 per hour on a 40 hour week.
