We are expanding our team and seeking a Quality Inspection Team Leader to join the Formel D Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting customer containment and rework activities to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
• Achieving Customer Key Project Indicators (KPIs)
• Supervising a team of permanent Quality Inspectors and temporary support staff, including mechanics and electricians
• Ensuring all team members are trained and equipped with necessary tools
• Coordinating and executing quality containment and rework projects to protect OEM production
• Passing acceptable parts online to avoid production disruptions
• Onboarding and inducting new employees according to company standards
• Training the team on quality inspection and reworking activities, including the use of eQCC system
• Conducting audits to ensure process adherence and quality standards
• Creating Statements of Work for rework and inspection projects
• Ensuring smooth material flow and reworking parts as needed
• Using eQCC for data capture on all projects
• Liaising with OEMs, customers, and suppliers
• Ensuring accurate and timely timesheet submissions
• Promoting waste reduction and accident prevention
• Following accident procedures and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Following HR procedures for employee performance and discipline management

Requirements:

• Experience working with OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry
• Proven experience in a similar quality inspection or leadership role
• Strong background in conducting quality audits
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams
• Customer management experience
• Familiarity with eQCC equipment and MS Office tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, proactive attitude
• Adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and quality standards
• Valid UK driving license and RTW in the UK without restrictions (no sponsorship available)
