As our Quality Improvement Manager for Apprenticeships, you will be at the forefront of shaping and enhancing the quality of our apprenticeship provision. You will work closely with curriculum teams, employers, and support services to ensure our apprentices receive the highest standards of teaching, learning, and workplace experiences. You will lead on monitoring, evaluating, and driving continuous quality improvement across our apprenticeship programmes, ensuring they meet both regulatory requirements and the high expectations of our learners and employers.

Who we need
This is an exciting role for a Quality Improvement Manager for Apprenticeships. The purpose of this role is ensuring robust internal quality assurance processes and high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA) are at the fore within Nottingham College. You will act as a liaison with key awarding organisations, oversee assessment activities, and promote evidence-based approaches to challenge and improve curriculum standards.

Overall, the Quality Improvement Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring educational excellence and continuous improvement within Nottingham College, despite facing various challenges in maintaining standards and navigating regulatory landscapes.
What you'll bring
The ideal candidate for this role would possess a proven track record of driving quality improvements through robust processes, leading targeted interventions, and demonstrating substantial experience in internal quality assurance activities. They should also exhibit excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to upholding equal opportunities and diversity, while being solutions-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Proven track record of driving quality improvements: Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement effective quality improvement initiatives using robust processes while providing supportive guidance and direction .
2. Leadership in targeted intervention and improvement planning: Experience leading intervention plans and improvement activities across diverse Apprenticeship provisions, indicating the ability to strategically address areas for improvement.
3. Teaching/training experience in Further Education and Higher Education: Successful history of teaching, training or quality assurance in a FE & HE context, with a track record of achieving good or better outcomes for learners, showcasing pedagogical expertise.
4. Substantial experience in internal quality assurance: Extensive background in leading and executing internal quality assurance activities , ensuring adherence to standards and continuous improvement in Apprenticeship delivery and assessment.
5. Collaboration with stakeholders for quality delivery: Proven ability to work effectively with awarding organisations and key stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of teaching, learning, and assessment within an Apprenticeship environment, highlighting strong partnership skills.
