Quality Improvement Manager

37.5 hrs (Full Time)

Euxton Hall Hospital – Chorley - Lancashire

Ramsay Euxton Hall Hospital, located in Chorley, has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Improvement Manager to join our friendly, dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, you will support the hospital in all aspects of clinical governance and strive for clinical excellence.

Our hospital, opened in 1983, is one of Lancashire's leading private hospitals, renowned for delivering high-quality healthcare to patients with health insurance, self-funding treatment, or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.

Successful applicants will have strengths in data collection and analysis, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based reporting systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual committed to delivering the highest standards of clinical quality and patient care within Ramsay Healthcare.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with governance reports under the supervision of the Head of Clinical Services.
  • Maintain knowledge of legislative requirements and reporting responsibilities of hospital/clinical services departments, including communication with the public.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate external inspections and meetings.
  • Maintain data spreadsheets and databases.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer-focused communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based reporting.
  • Understanding of private and public health sector funding models.
  • Experience leading Continuous Improvement processes in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of clinical risk management strategies.
  • Ability to analyze clinical data and produce reports for various stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills in motivating clinical teams.
Desirable Skills:
  • Management experience within healthcare.
  • Understanding of healthcare funding models.
