Job summaryPermanent | Full-timeWe are looking for a motivated person to join the Surgery, Critical Care & Diagnostics Care Group Governance workstream. You will report to the Quality, Governance & Compliance Officer and provide essential admin support, ensuring safe and effective governance processes.
You will help coordinate the Surgery, Critical Care & Diagnostics Clinical Quality Group (CQG) meetings and assist clinical teams with project support related to governance activities. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care while ensuring alignment with Trust Governance processes.

Main duties of the jobReporting into the Quality, Governance & Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support to the QGC Officer and OQC Lead.
- Administer risks, incidents, and other governance-related matters.
- Record and create detailed reports using the hospital's Datix reporting system.
- Facilitate the smooth running of the Care Group Clinical Quality Group meetings.
- Take accurate minutes during family governance meetings.
- Coordinate different meetings and forums.
- Monitor the progress of governance actions.

Person SpecificationQualifications & TrainingEssential- Recognised qualification in maths and English e.g. GCSE grade A - C or equivalent
- NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration or equivalent
ExperienceEssential- Experience of producing and presenting reports
- Experience of designing training and development documents including end user guides
- Experience of supporting administration and business management in a busy and changing environment
- Experience of using a range of different software applications
Desirable- Experience of presenting to groups of people
- Experience of delivering training
- Experience of working within the NHS
Knowledge & SkillsEssential- Ability to analyse, interpret and report information clearly
- Problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a range of different stakeholders

- Evidence of achieving deadlines
