Job description

To provide comprehensive and confidential administrative and clerical support to meet the needs of the Audiology service in accordance with Departmental, Trust, and National standards, policies, and procedures. To effectively communicate related information and advice to enable the team to achieve operational excellence.

We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Governance Co-ordinator to join our friendly audiology team. This is a new role offering an exciting opportunity to support a service providing audiology care for both adults and children.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in all Microsoft applications. This position suits someone seeking a full, varied role with the ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of NHS governance structures and processes is desirable but not essential; relevant training will be provided.

As the Audiology Quality and Governance Coordinator, you will support the Audiology Quality Lead and Management Team by maintaining and developing the quality management system, supporting UKAS accreditation, and assisting with clinical governance and risk management processes, including managing patient safety incidents via the Datix system.

The role involves effective time management, managing schedules, ensuring appropriate and timely communication, arranging meetings and events, transcribing minutes, and preparing correspondence and reports. You will also manage electronic correspondence and documentation systems.
