Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of apetito, is seeking a Quality and Food Safety Auditor Supervisor to lead PM and night-shift audits of ingredients, processes and products. You will prioritise tasks to keep the team on schedule and compliant, while upholding safety standards and customer expectations.

You will audit against BRC/HACCP, investigate quality issues, and drive corrective actions, all within a collaborative, detail-oriented leadership role on site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a food manufacturing/quality setting.
• Proven ability to maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with SAP systems.

Overview

Are you passionate about food quality and making a real impact?

As Quality and Food Safety Auditor Supervisor, you’ll help ensure every product we make is safe and meets the standards our customers expect.

You’ll lead the PM and night-shift teams, auditing ingredients, processes and products while prioritising tasks to keep the team on schedule and compliant.

You’ll be a collaborative, people-focused leader with a sharp eye for detail, able to stay focused and deliver under pressure.

As part of Technical—the ‘Conscience of the Business’—you’ll protect our customers and our business by upholding the quality and food-safety standards we’re proud of.

This position is a fixed PM shift: 1.45pm to 9.45pm, Monday to Friday.

£37825.32 per annum + shift allowance + bonus + benefits

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently achieved across site.
• Carry out audits and inspections in line with BRC and HACCP requirements.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Manage food safety and quality non-conformances, driving corrective and preventative actions.
• Support traceability exercises and product investigations when required.
• Monitor product quality against agreed specifications and standards.
• Assess risks associated with raw materials and incoming goods.
• Manage supplier quality concerns, concessions, and product rejections.
• Support the operation and compliance of food safety monitoring and detection systems.
• Coordinate testing activities and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Promote a strong food safety culture through training, inductions, and coaching.
• Work closely with production and technical teams to continuously improve quality performance.

Qualifications/Personal Qualities

Essential:

• Experience working in a food manufacturing/ quality environment
• Experience supervising a team:

• SAP experience
• Strong IT skills
• Attention to detail
• Compliance ethos

Desirable:

• Degree, or equivalent, in relevant subject
• BRCGS experience
• Auditing skills/ experience

This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route as it does not meet the minimumrequirements set out under the UK Immigration Rules.
