Job summary

Rullion Managed Services is seeking an Assistant Quality Engineer on a contract basis at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. The role supports QA and QC activities, delivering reporting, governance, and quality process assistance to ensure standards compliance while developing practical quality engineering skills.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to ISO 9001 style quality systems, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and excellent attention to detail, with solid organisational and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Exposure to quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Strong administrative experience in a quality, engineering, or regulated environment.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including presenting complex information clearly.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, and data validation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to quality-check complex information.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Minimum English and Mathematics GCSEs (Grade C/4) or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support quality assurance, audit preparation, and governance activities.
• Assist in coordinating internal audits and quality reviews
• Carry out basic quality checks on documents to ensure consistency and completeness
• Use Excel to analyse data, produce charts, and maintain dashboards and trackers.
• Apply rigorous quality checks to reports, ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance.
• Coordinate the production and routing of high-level quality and performance reports.
• Prepare, format, and maintain professional PowerPoint presentations for senior governance forums.
